 The Cumberland Historic Cemetery Organization will hold their annual memorial service and history reading for area American Revolutionary War Veterans on July 4th at 10AM. The event will begin at CHCO Headquarters 400 S. Allegany St. Cumb. The site of the Capt. David Lynn estate. In 2008 the CHCO installed a monument at the columns to honor Capt. Lynn and over two centuries of great American history and heritage. Several elected officials will speak along with representatives of several other historical organizations. Those present will travel to nearby Rose Hill Cemetery to lay a wreath at Lynn's grave marked by a CHCO monument. For more information call 301-722-4624 or visit www.chco.info
