Cumberland Man Arrested for Destruction of Property

On Thursday at 12:11 pm, officers responded to the 100 block of Park St. for someone breaking out a window.  Upon arrival officers spoke to witnesses who advised that they watched a subject punch out the window of a residence. Officers on the scene put out a BOLO for the suspect. An officer on patrol located evidence related to the crime and followed it to the 200 block of Maryland Ave. There, officers located a subject identified as Anthony Horn Jr., age 18, of Cumberland, MD.   Officers were able to obtain evidence and positive identification that Horn broke the window.  Subsequently, Horn was arrested and charged with Malicious Destruction of Property less than $500.  Horn was processed and released on a Criminal Citation pending trial in District Court.

On February 21, 2016 at approximately 4:04 PM the Cumberland Police investigated a destruction of property complaint that occurred in the 100 block of Bedford Street.  Investigation revealed a brick had been thrown through a window of a residence.  Witnesses were interviewed and Frederick Earl Bolinger was identified as a suspect.  Bolinger was located and placed under arrest.  He was taken to the Cumberland Police Department where he was issued a criminal citation for Destruction of Property and released pending trial in District Court.
