On Saturday, Cumberland Police Department responded to a S. Waverly Street address for the report of a man knocking on the door. The caller had a protective order against the man.
When officers arrived, contact was made with the man who as identified as Timothy Adam Spiker. Officers confirmed that Spiker had an active protective ordering him to stay away from the residence of the caller. He was arrested and charged with violating a protective order and trespassing.
Spiker was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.
