The Cumberland Mayor and City Council this week authorized one year contract extensions for Burgmeier’s Hauling for trash collection; and with Noble Environment Mountain View Landfill for tipping fees. The extensions run through June of 2024. City Administrator Jeff Silka said given the current economic climate and inflation rates, the Burgmeier deal is a city-friendly agreement…
Meanwhile the landfill is reaching it’s maximum capacity and Burgmeier has developed a plan moving forward..
