***Adult Arrest***
On October 21st, 2022, The Cumberland City Police arrested Zakkery Sebastian Grady, 29, of Cumberland MD. Grady was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on October 14th, 2022. The warrant alleged that Grady failed to comply the terms and conditions of his pre-trial release that stemmed from previous CDS possession charges. Grady was taken before the District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held without bond.

On October 21st, 2022, The Cumberland City Police arrested Janelle Lucinda Keating, 46, of Cumberland MD. Keating was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on October 20th, 2022. The warrant alleged that Keating failed to obey the terms and conditions of probation that stemmed from a previous conviction on charges of providing a false statement to an officer. Keating was taken before the District Court Commissioner for her Initial Appearance where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She is currently being held without bond.

On October 21st, 2022, The Cumberland City Police arrested Frank Leonard Nicol Jr, 29, of Cumberland MD. Nicol was arrested when it was discovered that he had an active warrant for his arrest in Warren County Virginia. The warrant alleged that Nicol failed to appear for Warren County District Court on July 7th, 2022, on charges of CDS Possession. As a result, Nicol was placed under arrest on charges of being a fugitive from justice. Nicol was taken before the District Court Commissioner where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held without bond, awaiting extradition to Virginia.

On October 21st, 2022, The Cumberland City Police arrested Shaheed Shamarr Montgomery, 34, of Cumberland MD. Montgomery was arrested on three active warrants issued by the Allegany County District Court. One warrant alleged that Montgomery failed to comply with an order of the court that stemmed from previous assault and child abuse charges. The second, alleged that he failed to obey the terms of his probation that stemmed from a previous CDS possession conviction. The third warrant was the result of an October 14th incident. During that incident, it is alleged Montgomery disregarded “no contact” orders set forth by the District Court, violating the conditions of his pre-trial release. As a result, Montgomery was placed under arrest and taken before the District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance. He was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center where he is currently being held without bond.
