On Saturday, February 17, 2024 at approximately 1:57 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to Park Street for a disturbance involving a male subject running in and out of the roadway, hitting cars as they passed by him. Police contacted the male subject who was identified as Glenn Williams. Williams was warned to stay out of traffic and released. As police were leaving the area, an officer observed Williams run into traffic again and hit the side of a truck. Officers contacted Williams and placed him under arrest. Williams was transported to Central Booking. Williams is currently being held at the Allegany County Detention Center awaiting his initial appearance.
