Cumberland Police Issue Saturday Arrest Report

On 7/23/2022 at approximately 10:00 AM the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to the single digit block of Valley Street for a suspicious person in a vehicle. Upon arrival officers contacted Jared Nathaniel Citarelli. A police K-9 was requested and alerted to the odor of Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) in the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted and a quantity of suspected Fentanyl and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the vehicle. Mr. Citarelli was placed under arrest and transported to the police station. Mr. Citarelli received an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner and was released on a $1,000.00 unsecured bond.

 

Arrested – Jared Nathaniel Citarelli (34) Keyser, WV

Charge – CDS Possession not Marijuana, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia

 

Adult Arrest

 

On 7/23/2022 at approximately 3:00 AM the Cumberland City Police were dispatched to a business in the 200 block of Greene St for a theft complaint. Upon arrival officers spoke to an employee and learned a male had drunk a beverage inside the business and left without paying. Officers contacted Benayah Reuben Del Toro outside the business. Mr. Del Toro would not provide his name and began yelling at the officer creating a disturbance. Mr. Del Toro was arrested at that time and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center. There he received an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner and was released on his personal recognizance.

 

Arrested – Benayah Reuben Del Toro (26) Cumberland, MD

Charges – Theft less than $100.00, Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing and Hindering
