***Adult Arrest***
On August 6th, 2022, The Cumberland City Police arrested Morgan Paige Grubb, 34, of Cumberland MD. Grubb was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County Circuit Court. The warrant was issued on
July 26th, 2022, when Grubb failed to appear in Circuit Court for a previous traffic arrest that occurred on November 19th 2019. Grubb was originally charged with driving on a revoked license, driving without a license, giving a false name to an officer, as well as other non-serious traffic offenses. Grubb was taken before the District Court Commissioner for her Initial Appearance where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She is currently being held without bond.

On August 6th, 2022, The Cumberland City Police arrested Dakota Mckenzie Getz, 25, of Cumberland MD. Getz was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court for failing to appear for a
scheduled trail set for July 7th, 2022. The case was the result of a previous incident that occurred on January 5th, 2022, where it is alleged that Getz burglarized a Bedford St. residence, breaking in and stealing multiple items from inside the home. At this time, Getz has been remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held on a $5,000 bond.

***Adult Arrest***
On August 6th, 2022, The Cumberland City Police responded to the 300 block of Grand Ave for the report of an assault. Once on scene, officers contacted a male victim who advised they had been in a verbal altercation with Rodney Montgomery Ross Sr, 70, of Cumberland MD. The victim then advised Ross then struck them in the head with a club. The victim was suffering from an open head wound and had to be transported to UPMC Western Maryland for treatment of his injuries. Ross was located a short time later and placed under arrest. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held without bond.
