We begin the week with the average price of gasoline in the Cumberland area at $2.41 a gallon. The AAA Mid Atlantic Survey says that is down two cents from a week ago, two cents from a month ago, but up 70 cents from a year ago. The price remains the highest in the state, and is 22 cents higher than the lowest, on the Eastern Shore.
