On October 24th, 2019, The Cumberland City Police Department arrested Bethany Annette Montague, 31, of Cumberland MD. Montague was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from a number of incidents which occurred between June 8th and June 14th, 2019. During this time frame it is alleged that Montague stole a credit card and identification of another individual. Those items were then fraudulently used multiple times to make purchases. As a result of the investigation, an application for charges was submitted and an arrest Warrant issued for her arrest. Montague was taken before the District Court Commissioner for her initial appearance where she was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.

Charges: Theft $100-$1500, Credit Card: Steal Another’s, 13 other misc. Credit Card Fraud Charges.

On November 9, 2018 Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Stephanie Michelle Faith, age 31 of Cumberland, Maryland. The warrant was issued after Faith failed to appear in District Court in January of this year. Faith was taken into custody and transported to the Cumberland City Police Department for processing. Faith was processed, served and taken before the District Court Commissioner and later released on her own personal recognizance.
