On May 21st, 2018, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Virginia Lynn Walker of Cumberland MD. The summons was in reference to an assault complaint that occurred on May 18, 2018, where Walker was said to have assaulted another subject. Walker was charged with 2nd degree assault.

On Thursday, June 9, 2016 Cumberland Police Officers served a criminal summons on Susan Davis for a charge of second degree assault. The summons stemmed from an incident that occurred at an Arch Street residence on June 8, 2016. The victim stated she went to the residence to speak to Susan Davis. The victim stated Davis struck her about the face, neck and chest area for no apparent reason. Officers spoke to the victim who had signs of injuries as a result of the assault. The victim filed for charges at the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office. A criminal summons was issued and later served on Davis. Davis was released pending trial in Allegany County District Court.
