Linda Perrin Taylor, 66, of Medina, Ohio, formerly of Cumberland, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023.

Born, in Cumberland, on Dec. 17, 1956, she was the daughter of Catherine Elaine (Hollern) Perrin and the late Dennis "Denny" Perrin, of Cumberland.
Linda was a 1974 graduate of Bishop Walsh High School. Following high school, Linda attended James Madison University and Allegany College of Maryland, before starting her career in the banking business in Washington, D.C.
She then married Dane E. Taylor on Sept. 25, 1982, and started a family in Cumberland. Linda was a lifelong member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Our Lady of the Mountains Parish, in Cumberland.
The focus of Linda's life was her family. Most of all, she loved being around her children and grandchildren. Linda was also very fond of her many aunts, uncles, and dozens of first cousins. She cherished annual Hollern family reunions and was a willing caregiver for extended family members in times of need.
Linda loved to travel and always took time to plan new trips for her family. Linda's love for her Irish heritage was the foundation for a family trip to Ireland to celebrate her 25th wedding anniversary. Her great love was being at the beach and by the ocean. She planned many vacations along the East coast, but especially enjoyed trips through New England and spending time on Nantucket.
Linda loved to cook for her family and passed on that love to her children. Her strong belief in fairness and equality defined her unique ability to be not only a wonderful mother and spouse, but a lifelong teacher for her family. Linda was also an avid sports fan, a lover of history and watching her favorite movies.
In addition to her husband and mother, Linda is survived by her children, Mallory A. Solner and husband, Michael, Colin A. Taylor and wife, Sara Burnett, and Devin P. Taylor and wife, Jessica; grandchildren, Olivia J. Solner, William E. Solner, Maia E. Taylor, Aidan M. Taylor, and Liam P. Taylor, and a granddaughter on the way; brothers, James E.
