On April 6th, 2024 officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a business the 400 block of Maryland Avenue for a reported disturbance. Upon officer’s arrival they learned that Lamont Gross was refusing to leave the store. Gross was vacated from the property, and a short time later officers were dispatched to the area again for Gross. Gross was advised by officers to discontinue creating disturbances, and he began to leave the area. A short time later officers were again dispatched for Gross, who was subsequently placed under arrest. The officers then learned that Gross had taken items from the business in the 400 block of Maryland Avenue without paying for them. Gross was later released on Criminal Citations.
Arrest: Lamont Gross, age 50, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Disorderly Conduct, Theft Less than $100.
