Disturbing the Peace Arrests

On Tuesday May 14 th , 2024 at approximately 1:35 am, officers of the
Cumberland Police Department responded to the 200 block of Maryland
Avenue for a reported disturbance. Officers had been to the residence
earlier in the evening where Corinne Devyak had been intoxicated and
creating a disturbance, and was advised to keep the peace. Upon
officer’s arrival they were able to hear Devyak to again be creating a
disturbance that could be heard from outside of the residence. Devyak
was contacted and issued a Criminal Citation for disorderly conduct and
was released pending her trial at District Court. On Wednesday May
15 th , at approximately 12:29 am officers responded back to the residence
for Devyak, who was again intoxicated and creating a disturbance. She
was subsequently placed under arrest and was remanded at the
Allegany County Detention Center where she awaits her initial
appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

Arrest: Corinne Devyak, age 68, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Two Counts of Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace, Fail
to Obey.
