On April 23rd, 2022 officers of the Cumberland Police Department served an Arrest Warrant on Robert Christopher Cain. The Arrest Warrant was issued by the District Court when he failed to appear for his trial on April 14th, 2022.
The Arrest Warrant stemmed from an incident on August 4th, 2021. During the incident an Officer of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a foot patrol on Canal Street when they observed a male with open containers of alcohol. When issued a Civil Citation for the open containers the male provided a false name. The officer continued their investigation and identified the male as Cain, and submitted an application for charges, which resulted in this Arrest Warrant. Cain was remanded to the Allegany County Detention where he awaits his initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
Arrest: Robert Christopher Cain, age 59, Cumberland Maryland.
