The Maryland State Police are celebrating National Faith and Blue Weekend across the region with faith-based organizations. The event was launched to build safer, stronger communities through partnerships between law enforcement and local churches and community groups. Locally, the event is taking place with a community gathering on Sunday beginning at 2pm at LaVale Baptist church, located next to the Maryland State Police Barracks in LaVale.
