The Allegany Farmers Market Association seeks farm and craft vendors for the 2023 season. The association hosts four farmer's markets throughout Allegany County from April through October. Applications are available on the website at alleganyfarmersmarkets.com and are due by March 15. After decades downtown on Baltimore St., the Thursday market in Cumberland is preparing for relocation to Canal Place. The Allegany Farmers Market Association's 2023 season opens at Canal Place on Thursday, April 27, from 9:30 am-1:00 pm. The new location is along the Canal Place Stage, accessible via the Howard St. entrance to Canal Place. This new venue will offer customers more accessible parking and restroom facilities.
