Fire units from Allegany, Garrett and Mineral Counties are on the scene of a structure fire at 157 East Main Street in Frostburg. Allegany County Fire/EMS reports on its Facebook Page that it is the location of The Dawg House Bar & Grill Formerly known as Duncan's Bar & Grill. The initial call was reported early in the 9 AM hour.

First reported on by WCBC News Friday morning, a Frostburg fire has claimed the life of a Frostburg University student. Firefighters responded to the two-alarm blaze at approximately 5:07 a.m. 144 Bowery Street in Frostburg. Officials with the Maryland State Fire Marshal are investigating into the cause of a house fire. Two other occupants of the residence were able to escape the blaze, one of which jumped from a second story window. Companies from Allegany and Garrett Counties responded to the scene.
