Former Frostburg City Councilman and United States Navy veteran Robert L. Connor passed away on Monday at the age of 71. Connor served 18 years on the Frostburg City Council, as well as 47 years for the Frostburg Fire Department. Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home on Wednesday November, 27th from 2-4PM and Friday November 29th from 2-4PM and 7-9PM.

Joseph Freno, 95, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012. Freno served a 25 year career with Teamsters Local 453, including serving as president. Freno also was elected as a city council member, serving from 1990-1994. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home on Virginia Avenue on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8PM.
