On Saturday December 16th, 2023 at approximately 11 pm, officers of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Fourth Street and Grand Avenue. They contacted the operator, Jon Vanetta Jr, who showed criminal indicators. Officers learned that Vanetta did not possess a drivers license, and as they continued their investigation a search was conducted, where items of paraphernalia and a quantity of a controlled dangerous substance was located. Vanetta was issued citations for the offense and released pending his trial at the District Court.
Arrest: Jon Christopher Vanetta Jr, age 35, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Possession not Cannabis, Driving Without a License.
