Frostburg Takes 9 Event Final Wins at MEC Individual Championships

The Frostburg State Acrobatics & Tumbling team won an MEC-best nine event finals in the individual finals event on Saturday afternoon.
 
FSU took the first heat of the day in the 5-element acro with a score of 9.50. The Bobcats then proceeded to dominate the pyramid event, winning all three heats with scores of 9.575 in the inversion, 9.55 in the synchronized, and 9.725 in the open.
 
Frostburg took one heat in the toss event, scoring a 9.625 in the open toss. After winning the quad tumbling pass with a score of 8.125, FSU swept the individual passes with a 9.30 in the aerial, a 9.575 in the 6-element, and a 9.825 in the open heat.
