Frostburg State University President, Dr. Ronald Nowaczyk, was recently appointed to serve as a new commissioner on the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. His term will continue through December of 2029. The Middle States Commission is one of the best known accreditors for colleges and universities providing accountability, evaluation, and improvement practices. Nowaczyk says the work of the commission is crucial to the challenges higher education will face over the next several years.
