Governor Wes Moore was the keynote speaker for the 156th graduation ceremony of the Maryland State Police in Reisterstown. There are 26 new troopers for the state that completed 28 weeks of education at the Maryland State Police training academy. As students, they received instruction in criminal and traffic law, emergency care, emergency driving, physical training and de-escalation and conflict resolution.
