Maryland gubernatorial candidates Democrat Wes Moore and Republican Dan Cox have agreed to a debate that you'll hear on WBAL NewsRadio. The debate is scheduled for Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. It will air on WBAL NewsRadio 1090 and FM 101.5, WBAL-TV 11, Maryland Public Television and WRC-TV in Washington. This will be the first time the two candidates are scheduled to face off in a debate setting. It will be hosted by Maryland Public Television.
Moore released a statement on Wednesday saying in part, “I look forward to the opportunity this October to contrast my vision and values with Dan Cox’s far-right agenda. The stakes of this election could not be more clear."
Cox's campaign, as of Wednesday, had not issued a statement.
