In a repeat of last week's Homecoming game, the Fort Hill Sentinels used their passing game and stout defense to defeat the Allegany Campers in the Maryland 1A West Region Championship 21-20 in overtime. Fort Hill received the ball first in overtime, scoring and adding the extra point. Allegany used their fullback Dylan Shockey to find the end zone as well, electing to go for two instead of kicking the extra point. On a give to Shockey on the ensuing play, the Fort Hill defense was prepared,stopping the fullback behind the line and ending the Campers' post-season. The Sentinels will host Brunswick Friday night as they defeated top-seed Boonsboro.
