Holiday COVID Testing Schedule

The Maryland Department of Health (MDH), local jurisdictions, and their partners are operating COVID-19 testing sites and mobile testing teams, as well as mobile and fixed vaccination clinics throughout the state.  

This weekly advisory provides information about testing site locations and hours operated by local health departments and MDH throughout Maryland. It also provides information about local health departments’ state vaccination opportunities. 

Reminder: All Marylanders 12 and older are now eligible for vaccination. Find a vaccination site and make an appointment near you here.

If you are not fully vaccinated, you are at risk of serious illness or even death from COVID-19, and should get a vaccination as soon as possible. For those who cannot get a vaccine, especially those 12 and under and those with compromised immune systems, you are vulnerable to new and contagious variants of COVID-19 such as the Delta variant. Testing remains essential to stopping the spread of COVID-19. 

MDH encourages the following individuals to get COVID-19 tests:

  • People who have symptoms of COVID-19. People who are fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine should be evaluated by their healthcare provider and tested for COVID-19 if indicated.
  • People planning to travel. If you are planning to travel internationally, you should be fully vaccinated. However, you may also need to present a negative COVID-19 test to enter certain locations, as well as to re-enter the United States. Be aware that COVID-19 is still prevalent in many parts of the world. Check the current COVID-19 situation in your destination.
  • People who:
    • Have had close contact with someone with confirmed COVID-19 (including a person who does not have symptoms within 10 days of their positive test result), even if fully vaccinated
    • Have taken part in activities that put them at higher risk for COVID-19, such as attending large social or mass gatherings
    • Are prioritized for expanded community screening for COVID-19
    • Have been asked or referred to get testing by a school, workplace, or healthcare provider

Some local health departments are no longer offering testing services to focus on vaccinations, but you can find a local testing site from more than 310 listed at covidtest.maryland.gov.

MARYLAND’S STATE COVID-19 TESTING AND VACCINATION ACTIVITIES:

 

Maryland Department of Health Vaccination and Testing Sites:

  • (Vax/Testing/Treatment) Baltimore Convention Center – 1 W. Pratt Street, Baltimore – Closed Labor Day, Monday, September 6.
    • Vaccinations available Tuesday, September 7, 8 a.m -12 p.m.; Thursday, September 9, Friday, September 10, and Saturday, September 11, 8 a.m -12 p.m. Walk-up vaccinations available anytime during operating hours. Closed for vaccinations: Wednesday, Sunday. 
    • Testing available Wednesday, September 8, 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., and Friday, September 10, 1 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Walk-ups and appointments, visit umms.org/bccfh to schedule an appointment for testing. The site also includes a Monoclonal Antibody Infusion center. No testing Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. 
  • (Vax/Testing) MDH COVID-19 Testing @ Oriole Park at Camden Yards: Offering free vaccinations as well as testing for the remainder of the season. Includes two free tickets to a future game to those who get a vaccine, and giveaways for testing as well while supplies last. Open to all visitors to Oriole Park during home games, located inside the stadium in the lower concourse across from Section 26. Open from the time the gates open through the first two and a half hours of that game or the top of the 8th inning. Visitors to the ballgame will be able to make an instant appointment using a QR code posted throughout the stadium, or walk up for free testing and vaccinations.  
  • (Testing Only) Annapolis – Calvert & Bladen Streets (Anne Arundel) – Open for testing Labor Day, Monday, September 6 and Tuesday, September 7,  8 a.m. – 12 p.m.; and Thursday, September 9, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Public appointments are available, but walk-ins are welcome.
  • (Testing/Treatment) Prince George’s County Testing and Monoclonal Antibody Infusion Site at the City of Praise Family Ministries (8500 Jericho CIty Drive, Landover, Prince George’s County):  Open for testing Labor Day, Monday, September 6, 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.; Wednesday, September 8, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.;  and Saturday, September 11, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. No registration or appointments required for testing. The site also includes a Monoclonal Antibody Infusion center as part of a joint program by MDH and the U.S. Health and Human Services Department, operated by a Maryland-based clinical company, FirstCall (appointment required, please call 443.459.1095).

  • Every Wednesday: Allegany County Health Department (Willowbrook Office Complex, 12501 Willowbrook Rd., Cumberland) – 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Moderna and J & J for ages 18 and up – 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Pfizer for ages 12 and up.  Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No appointment needed.
