West Virginia Governor Jim Justice issued a statement calling on the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission to delay an emergency meeting scheduled for Friday during which they are expected to take action against Alderson Broaddus University.   Justice is calling for the delay so he can meet with the HEPC, university leadership, and legislative leaders to make sure every single avenue is exhausted before drastic action is taken.  He said “it is simply too important, not only for this prestigious university and its alumni, but also for the entire community of Philippi and Barbour County.”
