Applications are now being accepted for this year’s "Keep Maryland Beautiful” grants program. Administered by the Departments of Natural Resources, Transportation, Agriculture and the Chesapeake Bay Trust, grants are offered to non-profits, volunteer groups, and communities to support education projects, stewardship and protection of natural resources. Last year, 31 grants totaling $92,000 were awarded for projects in 12 counties and Baltimore City. More information is available at dnr.maryland.gov.
