On 11/21/2023 at approximately 2:00 PM the Cumberland City Police were dispatched to a business in the 400 block of Maryland Avenue for a shoplifting complaint. Upon arrival officers contacted Matthew Easton and located stolen merchandise on his person. Easton was arrested and transported to the Police Station. Easton was issued a Criminal Citation for theft and released pending trial in District Court.
Arrested – Matthew Leon Easton (49) Lonaconing, MD
Charge – Theft less than $100.00
