Western Maryland's COVID-19 mass vaccination site opens today in the former Wolf’s furniture store at Hagerstown Premium Outlets at 900 Premium Outlets Blvd. The site will be appointment-only. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Those receiving the vaccine should bring a copy of their appointment confirmation code. Second doses, if required, are scheduled when people register for their first appointments. The state is slated to enter Phase 2B on March 30, which includes all Marylanders 16 and older with underlying medical conditions that increase their risk for severe COVID-19 illness. Phase 2C starts on April 13 and includes all Marylanders 55 and older and all essential workers in critical industries including food services, utilities, transportation, construction workers, financial services, information technology and other infrastructure. Phase 3 will start on April 27 and include all Marylanders ages 16 and older. Governor Larry Hogan says this new mass vaccination site represents the state’s latest effort to get shots in every arm…
