Mayor, Council Member Cioni Offer Perspectives on Effort to Find New City Administrator

It was a poorly kept secret in recent years that Cumberland City Administrator Jeff Rhodes has been looking to leave that position to pursue other opportunities- however it didn’t become official until last November when he announced his plans to retire as of June 1st 2021. With that end date fast approaching and applicants interviewed by a search committee deemed not right for the job-  the city council just last week took action to hire a recruiting firm to assist in finding a new administrator.
