MD Conservation Corps Seeking Members

August 14th, 2023 by WCBC Radio

An award-winning AmeriCorps program is still accepting applications for work through the end of August.  The Maryland Conservation Corps provides young adults with opportunities for service in the community and environment by preserving, protecting, and restoring Maryland’s natural resources. Members plant trees, build trails, restore habitats and assist with special events. Members receive a bi-weekly allowance, healthcare benefits, low cost housing at certain crew sites and an AmeriCorps education award to be used toward school tuition or certain student loans.
