On Thursday, July 24, 2025, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 100 Block of North Mechanic Street for the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers met with Angela Comer, who at that time was intoxicated and was creating a disturbance. Upon conducting the investigation, it was learned that Comer had assaulted another male, leading to the disturbance. Angela continued creating a disturbance in the presence of Officers while being advised not to. Ultimately, she was placed under arrest, at which point she began resisting and then assaulting the Officers on scene. Angela was able to be transported to the Allegany County Detention Center, where she was released on an unsecured $3,000 bond.

CHARGES: Assault 2nd (x2), disorderly Conduct, Fail to Obey, Public Disturbance, Public Intoxicated Disturbance, Resisting Arrest.
