Western Maryland has been left reeling after FEMA denied the appeal request for flood relief funds, and Governor Wes Moore is putting the blame on the Trump Administration.  Moore said what is supposed to be objectively weighed by FEMA has been politicized by the Trump Administration.  County Commissioner Dave Caporale told WCBC after $33.7 million in damages was validated by FEMA, he thought they would approve it…

  

“I could have just fell out of my chair.  I really was hopeful that with the second application and the appeal that we would have received those funds.  In each application we exceeded the threshold for the damage that had been done, so, very, very disappointed.”
