On Sunday March 26th, 2023 at 6:49 pm officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash near the intersection of Oldtown Road and Grand Avenue. Upon their arrival they observed two vehicles involved with disabling damage to both vehicles. While investigating the motor vehicle crash officers observed evidence of impairment with one of the operator’s, Noiel Massey. After the performance of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests the officers observed additional evidence of impairment, and placed him under arrest. Massey was later released pending his trial at District Court for driving under the influence and other traffic related citations.
