Three new businesses held their ribbon cuttings and grand openings this past week in downtown Cumberland. The fabulously renovated Arcadian Gallery at 47 Baltimore Street opened its doors on Saturday, dedicated to showcasing art that reflects beauty and complexity of the natural world. arcadiangallery.com. On Thursday the Queen City Cigar Company had its ribbon cutting at 114 South Centre Street on the second floor. The remodeled space has a large selection of cigars for purchase. Customers purchasing cigars in the shop are welcome to use the lounge. Membership packages are also available with private humidor storage. On Friday the Liberty Street General Store Sandwich and Deli held its ribbon cutting on South Liberty Street. The analog Deli offers fresh meat and cheese, household goods, groceries as well as resupply and camping gear for those traveling along the GAP and C&O Canal.
