The Western Region of the Maryland Park Service will be getting new State Park Rangers. Since the Maryland Park Service modern ranger program began in 2209, 14 classes of Park Rangers have graduated. Of the 21 graduate, five new rangers will work in the Western Region at Wolf Den Run, Deep Creek Lake State, Park, Cunningham Falls, South Mountain Recreational Complex and Fort Frederick.
