The National Weather Service has posted a Winter Weather Advisory for Western Allegany County, Garrett County, and the local mountain areas of West Virginia.
WHAT…Snow occurring. Plan on slippery road conditions. Tree branches could fall as well due to strong winds. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches are expected.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times due to snow and blowing snow. Cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin.
