On Tuesday, June 25th, 2024, the Cumberland City Police responded to the 1500 block of E. Oldtown Rd for a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival on scene, officers discovered that a GMC Acadia, operated by Emily Michelle Wagner, 33, had struck two parked cars. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Wagner’s vehicle was not registered and officers suspected her of driving while under the influence of alcohol. As a result of the investigation, Wagner was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. She was issued numerous traffic citations and released, pending trial in District Court.
