Maryland’s former Governor, Martin O’Malley has a new job – he was confirmed Monday as the new commissioner of the Social Security Administration. The Senate vote was 50-11 for confirmation with several senators already gone on their winter break. O’Malley replaces Andrew Saul who was removed from the role in 2021 by the Biden Administration.
