The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police – Barrack C have combined resources to target open and active warrants. As a result, the following individuals have been apprehended.
William Edward Ravenscroft Jr., 35, of Cumberland. was arrested on a Circuit Court Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation. His original charges include: CDS-Possession Not Cannabis and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia. He is being held at the Allegany County Detention Center pending a bail review.
On 8/23/23 the Allegany County Combined Warrant Unit received information related to the location of a wanted individual: James Chad Logan. Logan was found by officers hiding in the basement of a E. Wilson Road residence under a pool table. James Chad Logan, 43, of Oldtown, was arrested on a Circuit Court Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation. His Original Charge: Regulated Firearm: Illegal Possession. He is currently being held at the Allegany County Detention Center pending a bail review.
