A Pennsylvania program that has already trained about 7,500 educators and administrators on assessing potential threats will receive an additional $360,000 to continue making schools safer. The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency approved the funding. Each school in the state is required to have at least one Threat Assessment Team that works to manage students whose behavior may indicate a threat to the safety of the student, other students, school employees, facilities, the community or others.
