The Maryland State Department of Education is instructing kindergarten classrooms to teach about gender identity, and says that teachers in the state are not required to inform parents about their child’s desire to change genders. Parents across the state are now taking the fight to local school boards. The framework created by the state school board advises schools to teach children as young as five and six about how to “recognize a range of ways people express their identity and gender.” Not surprisingly this has become a hot topic- with many parents pushing back…
