October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Pennsylvania. One in three women and one in four men will experience domestic violence in their lifetime. Last year alone, 104 victims died from domestic violence in Pennsylvania. The state has provided $248 million in funding from the Commission on Crime and Delinquency since 2021 to help local programs provide resources to victims of crime.
