The Pirates took sole possession of first place Wednesday night with a 17-0 shutout of the Athletics. The Pirates were paced by the pitching of Grayson Long and the hitting of Caden Hall, who drove in three runs. Dylan Irons and Max Fradiska added triples. The next Dapper Dan broadcast will be the All Star game Sunday night at 7 p.m. Once again the final score: Pirates 17, Athletics 0.
