CRIMINAL SUMMONS SERVED On August 24th, 2023 the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Isaac Michael Case. The summons was issued after an officer conducted an investigation of a theft that occurred on Oak Street on August 11th, 2023. The officer then filed for charges at District Court. The summons was issued after an officer conducted an investigation of a theft that occurred on Oak Street on August 11th, 2023. The officer then filed for charges at District Court. TRESPASSING ARREST On August 24th, 2023 at approximately 10:11 a.m. an officer from the Cumberland Police Department observed Jessica Nicole Porter to be trespassing at a business on Greene Street. The officer contacted Porter and placed her under arrest for trespassing. A search was then conducted of Porter and her belongings, during the search, a quantity of CDS and CDS paraphernalia were located. She was issued several citations and released from the scene pending trial at District Court. ASSAULT ARREST On August 24th, 2023 at approximately 4:18 p.m. the Cumberland Police Department responded to an address on Grand Avenue for an assault. Upon arrival the officers made contact with the victim who advised they were assaulted by Jason Lynn Winfield. An officer observed injuries to the victim that were consistent with the victim’s statement. The officers completed the investigation, and Winfield was placed under arrest. He was transported to Central Booking, and he was later seen by a District Court commissioner; where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
