Domestic Assault Arrest
On 02/08/16 Officers served a criminal summons on Frederick Frances Jr. The summons stemmed from an Assault that occurred on January 30, 2016. Officers were called to an Arch Street residence for a disturbance. Upon their arrival Officers spoke to the victim, who stated her boyfriend, Frederick Francis Jr., was acting out of control. The victim stated an argument ensued and Francis Jr. allegedly burnt her with a lit cigarette. The victim had injuries consistent with the victim’s description of the incident. Francis Jr. had left the scene prior to the Officers’ arrival. Francis Jr. was located and served with the criminal summons and released pending trial in Allegany County District Court.

Charges: Assault: Second Degree
Warrant Arrest
On 02/8/16 Officers responded to a Greene Street business regarding a subject on the premises causing a disturbance and soliciting for money. Upon their arrival, Officers located the subject identified as Paul Ball. Officers began speaking with Ball and discovered Ball had outstanding warrants from Frederick and Washington counties. He was then placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland Police Department. He was served with the three arrest warrants and was held at the Allegany County Detention Center pending an Initial Appearance.
