Police Make Arrest in Disturbance

On Thursday, June 16, 2022 at approximately 9:13 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department were called to a residence in the 400 block of Bond Street for a disturbance.  Police contacted the resident who reported that he had invited a couple over to his residence.  He explained that Michael Alburtis became too intoxicated and began to argue with him and the other female present.  He advised that he needed Alburtis to leave and he refused.  An argument ensued which disturbed the neighbors.  Officers told Alburtis multiple times to leave the property.  He began to leave; however, he then turned around and began yelling at the female.  Alburtis was placed under arrest and transported to the police station for processing.  He was issued two criminal citations and released pending trial at District Court.

CHARGES:  Disturbing the Peace/Disorderly Conduct, Fail to Obey a Reasonable & Lawful Order
