Violation of Court Order
On Tuesday December 14, 2021 officers with the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence on the 200 block of Pennsylvania Ave for a report of a subject that had violated the conditions of a Peace Order. Upon arrival they spoke to the female caller who advised that Jawan Karim Brodie, age 28 of Cumberland MD had entered her residence in violation of a Peace Order that had been issued. Officers located Brodie inside the residence. Officers learned that a Temporary Peace Order had been issued and served on Brody that prohibited him from entering the residence. He was placed under arrest and taken to Central Booking for his initial appearance with the District Court Commissioner. He was held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.
