Police make Trespassing, Disturance and Drug Arrests

On Friday,  the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Kelly Swick.  The warrant was issued as a result of Swick violating his probation.  He was originally charged with Trespassing: Posted Property.  Swick was arrested and later transported to Central Booking.  He was seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $500 bond.

At approximately 10:55 AM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department were conducting a foot patrol in the Greene Street area when they located a male subject sleeping on government property that was clearly posted, ‘No Trespassing’.  The male subject was identified as Kadin Craze.  Craze was placed under arrest.  He was later issued a criminal citation and released pending trial at District Court.

The Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Jennifer Shoap.  The summons was issued in connection with an incident that occurred on May 29, 2022 in which police were called to the first block of Washington Street for a destruction of property complaint.  Shoap was arrested on this date.  On June 1, 2022, the investigating officer was called to the 100 block of Washington Street to make contact with a complainant who wished to report further damage caused by Shoap.  After further investigation, the officer filed for additional charges against Shoap.  A summons was issued and served.

CHARGES:  4 counts of Malicious Destruction of Property less than $1,000, 2 counts of Malicious Destruction of Property greater than $1,000

 

Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Breann Haines.  The summons was issued in connection with an incident that occurred on June 17, 2022.  An officer of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Baltimore Avenue for a traffic violation.  Haines was a passenger in the vehicle and she was arrested on an active warrant.  After further investigation, Haines was found to be in possession of controlled dangerous substances and paraphernalia.  The officer filed for additional charges against Haines.  A summons was issued and served.

 

ARRESTED:  Breann Carol Haines             AGE:  30           Flintstone, MD

CHARGES:  3 counts of CDS Possession-Not Marijuana, 4 counts of CDS Possess Paraphernalia

 

Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Natarsha Whaley.  The summons was issued as a result of an incident that occurred on June 4, 2022.  On this date, at approximately 10:06 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department were called to Willowbrook Rd. for a female wanting to file a police report.  Officers contacted Whaley and confirmed that she had an active arrest warrant.  Whaley became upset and attempted to flee from officers.  After a brief struggle, officers were able to take her into custody.  The officer filed for additional charges against Whaley.  A summons was issued and served.
